Melbourne Meet & Cruise Day

Hi All,

Yes this topic has come up on several occasions, but I thought why not just set a date & time and make it happen.

Hopefully I am not to stepping on anyone's toes but to get this started I have selected the meet location, date and time.

The Date is Saturday the 5th May 2007 meeting at Reg Harris Reserve,
Ferntree Gully Rd Oakleigh East VIC at 10am...say some hello's etc.

From here cruise to Olinda or Peninsula, stop for cafes, drinks, lunch etc..and take a few pics, tell some stories and share ideas.

I will definitely be there, and hopefully not alone...hope you guys can make it.

It's your car, yes..but please let's make it a sensible, responsible and enjoyable day.

I guess the idea is to make it happen and see how we go..so let's do it

By the way Ongie....Well done for doing the first step of thinking about organising something like this even though not all of us have been on the forum for that long.....well especially me!!

Haha....a yes, the little birdie tells no lies...I did go to AudVolks today to discuss the Revo....going to get done later this week will keep you posted.

Thought to self - A little birdie hey, I might need to pluck some feathers...haha

No worries...I thought why not just bite the bullet and go for it.

All I ask is that whom ever turns up, acts sensible and responsible on the road...I, and I'm sure others, do not want to end up on the 6 o'clock news ...unless it's holding a winning lottery ticket.

I'll send reminders on this thread, as the day gets closer.

Would love to but i work Sats... but i'm hard to pin down for cruises anyway. Should be good though.. esp if the weather is anything like what the weekend was!
