So from my research i have seen that this is a very hot item that a lot of people want to get their hands on... i am talking to a Auto Fabrics manufacturer and they are saying that they have something very similar to it, and if im not happy with that they will look into trying to make "an exact copy"

I just wanted to gauge interest on here and see who would be interested in purchasing some of this material... i will post pics of the samples that he is sending me and let you guys decide if you want what he has or if he can reproduce a better match, however i think buying more in bulk would lower the price and motivate them a little more into producing this...

So let me know what you think, if you want, and roughly how much you would want... also maybe a limit to how much you would pay would be good....
Samples should be arriving in 4-5 days

I've been chasing after this for years. Your story sounds just like a few others I have found during my search. I really hope something works out this time. You could sell the stuff for a mint and most likely exceed most sale estimates once you had product in ready to sell.

ya i did a lot of searching as well and it seems everybody promised the goods and then never came back to actually deliver... ill give you pics of what they can provide, if there is enough interest then i will have them make an "exact" replica and i will have them send me that sample.. the thing is, people have been able to get it but its at like $200 a meter.... thats beyond what im willing to pay... so im going to try to make this more affordable... lets hope it works out!!!

The vw tartan or plaid as you call it has been made for years and this has always been the story. Very hard and expensive to get.

We had a dubber in ST Louis buy enough material for her to make a skirt and something else.
Ill see if I can dig up some pics.
The material was very expensive from what I remember
