RaceLine Performance and Motorsport Catalog Now Exclusively Available through APR’s Global Dealer Network

Volkswagen Racing UK (VWR), home to the APR Volkswagen Racing Cup, has over a decade of motorsport experience with Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda platform vehicles in some of the most demanding motorsport environments. Through years of research and development, VWR was able to develop a product range applicable for both street and track use with a heavy focus on application and scenario specific products.

APR spent a considerable amount of time testing the VWR catalog across Europe, the UK and North America to ensure the product line meets APR’s strict engineering requirements. The VWR product line operated beautifully and APR is able to declare they are perfect compliment to high quality and performance proven APR product line.

The VWR catalog currently primarily focuses on VAG A5 (MK5/6 Golf, A3, TT, Scirocco, Leon, etc) and VAG A05 (A1, Polo, Fabia, etc) platform vehicles, however VWR is in the final stages of testing several performance parts for the larger Audi A, S and RS Line of vehicles such as the A4/A5, S4/S5 and TT RS. Suspension, Braking and Intake Systems will be the first products added to the catalog.

great more overpriced sub par crap

I'm personally running the brakes, suspension and intake on my own personal vehicle. I have the swaybars, mounts and camber plates going in soon.

I 100% disagree with you. The suspension is one of the best systems I've ever used. The brakes cannot be beat for the money. The intake sounds great, fits well and does what it says it does.

What data do you have to support your claims?

So for the TSI engine do you prefer the carbonio or the vw racing one? I take it there probably isn't much of a difference performance wise...

Why would anyone buy any of that? $549 for an intake?!?!? Seriously! Then ADD $20 for a bung to run a ko4. Geeze. I really think you guy should sit down build some genuine apr stuff that is not re-badged and sell it for a reasonable price. I bet those prices are at least 100% markup from what apr pays.

Was hoping the new fsi intake would be under 300. 549 is kinda crazy. Looks just like the wintake

I prefer the carbonio unit for power and looks however the VWR unit is pretty powerful, looks good and is much louder which I'm sure some people will like.

None that I'm aware of! I have the VWR Intake on my K04 MK5 GTI right now.

100%? I wish! Some of this stuff is passed on at less than 5% of our cost (ie, bung). But if it's too expensive for you, don't buy it. You have other options. Go elsewhere.

I'm assuming these will be available at Waterfest? Any chance they qualify for the 10% spring sale?

Sorry, we really don't have any margins in these products to offer sales pricing. We can usually only do that on the stuff we make.

As for waterfest, yes, we'll have them at the show!

If the VWR intake plays nice with the APR K04 tune im sold. I was just waiting on a non-stock airbox intake to come out before I buy an APR K04. Arin can you confirm this? Is the MAF area oval like the stock fsi engine cover/intake? Thanks.

i highly doubt APR would sell any of these parts if they are not going to play nice with their tune. I'm in for more info considering the price is high compared to competitive intakes.. you gotta pay to play!!
