P0171 & P0507 Codes just popped up

P0171 read, bank 1 system too lean. I relate this too an O2 sensor but I could be wrong.

P0507 Don't know what this is.

Has anyone had these codes and what turned out to be the issue.

I have had the P0507 code. The idle would hang, more than usual. I could also put it in third gear and coast @ 1,500 RPM without touching the gas (also on level ground). Any ideas?

I think that the 0507 could be telling us that we need a new PCV valve.

Does anyone know what if any codes come up if you tear your diverter valve?

Not sure of the code #, but you will get an "underboost" code.

I can't believe the lack of traffic on this site

Anyways, I just ordered a new BSH PCV kit with Catch Can. I 'm thinking that my problems are stemming from a bad PCV as I removed the hose this morning, and plugged the manifold hole and everything went back to normal as far as idle.

I'll keep you guys posted

The kit worked and the car is running like a top.
