I have it installed, zero issues so far. Like most recommend make sure its a fairly new pump if not your chances or oil/fuel mixture can happen which can eventually cause pump failure.

my buddy had it installed in his car and it has already started to leak fuel into the oil and his cam follower has been eaten due to diluted oil. he's had it in for about a month

I just wanted to throw my experience in here

I have been getting some weird boost fluxuations and very stinky oil (like gas smell) I have been running my KMD Newest revision kit for about 1,000 miles now..............

Also getting the rich at idle code.

I decided to pull the pump and sell my kmd internals. I mailed my pump to HPFPupgrade.com which jhines also recommends himself he frequents the vwvortex forums and he said his is holding up so far for a while now.

The kmd kit has worn down or screwed up the internal seal some how in the hpfp allowing fuel to escape into the oil. Because the oil was diluted with fuel the KMD cam follower slightly chewed up on the end. I callled kmd to ask them for a new follower. all i got was a response "no warranty on follower. We will sell you a new one for $75" I just hung up the phone. KMD was a sponsor of mine but I guess no longer.......... I do not recommend the kmd kit at all because i believe the seals need to be replaced at the same time the pump is upgraded.

I will tell everyone my experience with hpfpupgrade.com once i get it running. So far John has been freakin awesome. he completely saved my ass. I overnighted the pump to him he rebuilt it and it should be here friday :)

oh by the way im the one bill was talking about. the pump had 50,000 miles on it and the wear on the factory follower and shaft was actually not to bad it looked healthy. Maybe due to the moly lube :)

I'll keep an eye out on my kit, so far i've had zero issues and i've been monitoring the oil/fuel dilution issue to see if it happens. My pump was at 32k on my rebuild.
