Just wanted to share this great prduct that if you have the Highline instrument cluster gives you this:





you are able to name the menu yourself, and you have a choice of 5 or 6 info areas in the Menu, i have chosen 6, most importantly it gives you boost in the original cluster instead of and external fitted Boostgauge.
Also oil temp. and intake temp along with generator voltage and exact rpm and MPH.
A great bit of kit for anyone tracking their car or just wants to know how the cars health is. :thumbup:

If you have the midline there's a bar across the FIS that you see in these pictures.

Here's one from a Touran, but notice the bar across the middle of the FIS



That's midline and the one in my first post is Highline :thumbsup:

It's a box that you put in between the can gateway and canbus plug, and it uses the Telematics option in the can gateway to show an extra line in the highline where you can change what info you want shown in the 6 info areas.

You are able to firmware update the box via USB cable. The box needs to be unplugged from the canbus cable for it to be updated but it's possible to fit the box for easy access underneath the steering coloumn.

This is a very new product so some glitches can be seen. Look at this homepage for compatibility:

I just loves mine, all the info needed for my track days in the original cluster and accessible through my MFSW :happyanim:

Not bad considering how much you would pay for the additional gauges plus install plus aggrivation. clean sleeper option.

and i know they are working on it showing low fuel pressure and high fuel pressure.
More will come and you are able to update yourself :biggrin:

take note that you cannot install if you have factory bluetooth.

this has everything BUT boost for the GTI/GLI. Works perfectly for TDIs

if im looking at this correctly, neither does fis+. Wont show boost in the GTI/GLI but will in the R models and TDIs

This is the beauty of this, and i wrote it in the first post, this box doesn't use the original BT menu for the info as the Kufatec E-MFA does ( This is also NOT able to show Boost for the 2,0 TFSI engine)
This unit uses 75 telematics under the can gateway and has it's own menuline in the FIS/MFA, and i have had the E-MFA and it doesn't have everything, as it's not possible to update it and as you say is not possible to use along with factory BT.
so you are comparing a pot with a kettle :readthethread: :wink:

BTW MFA+ = E-MFA

lol, i love being the fly on the wall in these discussions..

I do have the highline, but my main interest was the boost reading and ig that doesnt work this may not be an option.. :(
