Thre were a few2 reports that the exhaust lost in open dump threw off the wideband readings... I don't know how much valitity that actually has. You also have to remember, I will still be driving this on the street and I live in a quiet neighb orhood

i dont think the wideband readings should be affected but man sounds like shit in my opinion when i first installed the wastegate i left it open and it took me 5 minutes to return to the exhaust shop and re route it to the downpipe as you did.

Glad to see your project is moving, hope to start mine next week!

Just vag-com mrbilkes car, CEL p22256 excessive use of orange zip-ties popped up. Replaced a few with black ones, car runs fine.....

finished the car today. All buttoned up, jsut need to get it tuned. Currently running around on revo stage 2 with no issues, as long as i stay out of boost. Most certainly not recommended up cruising in vac is no issue at all, just kinda rich. The flapperless setup as well as an atmospheric blow off works just fine.

Boost needs MASSIVE INTAKE! Lookin' good, mah man. Glad to see you got that issue with the orange zip ties VAG-COM'd and taken care of...I myself threw a clear zip tie code. Got that one knocked out, but now I have this lingering code of P666...I think it is because I have an FSI engine instead of a TSI. :(

If you can hear your dump to atmosphere wastegate your turbo is too big for the boost you want to run :)

wastegate is routed into the exhaust, he can hear his blow-off valve which is on the throttle body pipe.

also going to put on stage 2 dsg software as well as the stage 4 ecu software... i'll report back on both

car is pulling 23 inches of vac on deceleration, so it looks pretty leak free.... pulling a lot more vac then the OEM setup so i think i fixed a leak at some point during the install... lmao

sometime soon though, we will be hooking it up to an evap smoker to pressurize the intake and check for leaks.

Well the car is fast. The one thing I have noticed is the maf location is terrible with the atp kit. It was an 85 degree day yesterday and the maf as so hot I couldn't touch it... needless to say I will be relocating it to the. End of the intake on the drivers side of the engine bay... I will report back.
