17" ultraleggeras fitment on an R
Will a 17" ultraleggera fit on an R? I've searched for infor and pica but came up with nothing.

IIRC they fit fine; I believe gottaluvvw is running 17" Ultras on his .:R currently. Just search the forum and you should be able to find his pics and his threads.

yep, as Saab stated, i'm using them and lovin' them...very light and look great too imho
<18 lbs versus 28 for the OEM also, 17" allows for 235/45 with lots more meat on the tire to protect from pothole damage these 17"s just barely clear the brakes, but they do |

Yikes, If OEM wheels and tires weigh 28lbs, i can only imagine what my 19" OEM replica's weight

yeah, but actually, just the wheels weigh 28lbs...the tires weigh another 21-25lbs, depending on brand... your 19" oem reps probably weigh at least 25, but probably no more than 30...though you do have recaro seats that subtract quite of bit of that weight ;) |
