sausage was good.....

probably my favorite hot dog place is portillos in buena park by knotts. i love that place. |

Their hot dogs are good but far from the best IMHO.
My favorite is the Dodger Dog at Marty's Hamburgers, a tiny hamburger stand on Pico Boulevard in West Los Angeles. It is not unusual to see long lines there, especially on Saturdays. Marty's is also included in "Hamburger America", filmmaker George Motz's quest to find the 100 best burgers in America. I think there were two places in California on the list, and Marty's is one of them. Edit: The book is apparently in a second edition now and has been expanded to 150 burgers.
