FS: Kenwood DNX7140 double-din Nav

Selling my Kenwood DNX7140 Nav unit. Has upgraded (hacked) Garmin nav with most updated maps and some additional spoken languages (UK English and Australian TTS), Bluetooth, 7" display, custom GTI launch image and background. Including the unit and all the wiring you'll need, Connects2 double din Mk5 dash kit (the good looking one), and the USB iPod cable.

I had a Pioneer double din and it was at least twice as long. The Kenwood is a nicer unit in every way then the Pioneer. Either way it's a computer and has to load...

Just put in a CDA-117 so I don't need a new radio anymore. :smile:

I had the Avic-D3 and the boot up was very quick. Then I got the 910BT and it took way longer then this unit to boot!

That's the one I had - the 910BT. I was so unimpressed by it I won't buy another pioneer double din for quite some time. I heard it got better after some updates and such, but I don't really care to be honest. They lost my confidence as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed. I just took mine out and put in the stockie for now. Eventually, I might replace it with a Kenwood.

I have to say, I was so impressed with that Kenwood. The Garmin GPS is fantastic, it's easy to use, it's really a great unit. Sometime down the road I'll definitely be picking up another 7" Kenwood double-din.

Anyway, back on topic. Somebody buy this!
