Detailer's Domain: 2001 Porsche Boxster S - Paint Correction
I want to say that when I met up with this customer he didn't think that I could do much to the car. The car was bought new with under 8k logged on it since its purchase in 2001.
What was done - Exterior - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes - Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down - Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash - Wash down and rinsed - Door jambs were cleaned up - Clayed - Dried - Paint inspected and measured - Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray - Tires dressed with Swissvax Pneu - Rear cab window was cleaned up - Masking - 3 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue) - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight - Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock / Topped with Lusso Oro - Rubber and Plastics Treated - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed - Exhaust tips cleaned Products used: (feel free to click the link below for more info) Exterior: Valugard Detail Wash P21S Total Auto Wash Uber Yellow Wash Sponge Uber Clay Bar kit with Optimum No Rinse Einszett Spray Wax Meguiars M105 Menzerna Super Intensive Polish Menzerna PO85RD Menzerna Power Lock Lusso Oro Wheels/Tires Sonax Wheel Cleaner Swissvax Pneu Interior Sonax Dashboard Cleaner einszett Leathercare einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner Convertible Top Raggtop Kit (Fabric) Glass Adam's Glass Cleaner Adam's Glass Sealant Tools: Infratech 5300 Fenix TK11 Brinkmann Fenix TK40 Flex 3403 Makita Metabo The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch) Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels Uber Drying Towels Brushes Cam Spray Pressure Wash and Foam Canon Attachment Before Interior       Boot  After  Waxing the door jambs with Lusso Oro    Final interior shot   Before shots           Wheels before  Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner in action    Wheel after Sonax   Pre-Soak with P21S Total Auto Wash     Wash    Top being cleaned   Claying

Shots of the car after wash and clay (pretty bad)
     Adam's Undercarriage Spray  Okay so this was the tricky part, figuring out what would work on the back window of the cab. Before  50/50 Shots   After shot (all done by einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner, just amazing what this product can do)   Raggtop Fabric Protection  Polishing shots 50/50 Driver's Side Door  Closer shot  After shot (not completely finished)  Rear   Front Fender   Rear Fender  Close up  All good!     Sorry no shots of Power Lock Lusso Oro Applied  Sorry no rinse shots Final wipe down   After inside shots      After shots                   Permission for the write up granted by the customer

looking at the reflections i kept thinking "partly to mostly cloudy with a 10% chance of rain" did you clean/polish/wax around the "Boxster S" with just q-tips? |
