HereticByDefault's Build/Photo Thread
I feel like I've come along far enough to show my progress over the last year and a half or so. Some of the pictures were taken earlier today to show some things I wasn't able to get good pictures of when I first got them.
Stock Got some gauges put in an OSIR dual gauge pod (the air/fuel never worked) The first engine mod I got done was a Carbonio "CAI" Then the APR speed gremlins invaded my car and vomited stage 1 programming all over my ECU Vanity license plate Picked up some VHT Niteshade to make an attempt at tinting my taillights Mid-failure Failure Redemption (kinda) Got a good deal on some gunmetal VMR VB3s from RaBBiT_MKV

Fixed! Rest of the pics below
![]() Got the VB3s on, and bought some smoked sidemarkers. The ambers were disgusting. Spent a bunch of money on some nice piping Bought an EvoMS intake (stolen picture) Bought some R32 style tails done by Darcness, and had them sent to him to get some amber turn signals wired up Also has the four-circle mod, but I haven't wired them for that yet ![]() Tried to do a DV relocate with the BSH kit, but it ended up not working too well so I just decided to get rid of the whole setup. Put the carbonio back in for a bit Got some custom jet-black mirror signals from another member on here Bought a nice Eurosport intake with an ITG filter! Removed the Prosport gauges and OSIR podcause the boost gauge stopped working properly Picked up some R-Line fog grills 35% Window tint all around ![]() For one reason or another, I decided to get rid of the Eurosport intake and buy a BSH intake to replace it. I do like the way it sounds more though. Don't have a picture of the BSH at the moment, but I'm sure most of you know what it looks like lol Found an RCD-510 on craigslist and picked that up real quick ![]() I finally got around to installing the Newsouth boost gauge with the OSIR mono vent pod I had laying around for a while Bought a Jetta bottom center grille to match the R-Line fog grills! Picked up some yellow foglight bulbs and had my Koni coilovers installed ![]() ![]() Now I just need to get some tires for my freshly painted VB3s, and I'm waiting on some black mirror caps to make their way to my door. Not sure what I've got planned after that, but I will update accordingly!

Yup, that's why I replaced it with an RCD-510!

Lol I really shouldn't have used newspaper. I was all sorts of unprepared when I decided to do it.

Most of the gains you get from the carbonio are from the filter, not the intake. I could've ran the stock POS plastic thing with the carbonio filter and it would've been almost the same thing. I also wanted the sound from the FOS intake
