Remove the tie down hooks in each panel; then start from the front bottom and carefully pull out and down (IE toward the floor and center of the car for each panel). I didn't remove the entire panel (installed UNIBrace) but I pulled each back enough to work and there is nothing else holding them in place as far as I could tell.

Each of those is just tucked under the top plastic by about 1/4 inch, so they pull off without too much trouble, you just have to pull the bottom out first and then work the top loose. The carpet is stiff so it's a little tough to work with but not bad by any means.

Why do you need to remove both?

Hi.

Could someone give me some instructions how to remove trunk interior?
Thanks.

If you follow the procedure in the Bentley manual to remove the two carpeted side pieces, it is a really big job.
On a two door, includes removal of the lower trim around the hatch opening, rear load floor,
lower A-pillar cover, door sill trim, rear seat upper and lower cushions, upper B-pillar trim, the side cards in the back seat.
All of that gets you access to otherwise hidden screws holding the rear compartment side covers.

made this pic for someone else - the spot marked "still need to remove this one" is the fastener hidden by the rear seat side card.

Which then provides clearance for removing the carpeted side pieces.

Clearly there are workarounds, but that is the documented factory procedure to remove those two pieces.

I removed them while adding additional wiring to the car.

WOW Nice work!!!!!!

I want to use this suff on my ride too! (possibly on the doors too)
This wood help with sum of the rattles on my door caused by the radio when the bass is turn up. This bugs the crap out of me. lol

I also took off my resonator on my R32 and now u can here the exhaust much louder under the car. Its not too bad but it wood be nice if i could lower the sound in side the car a little bit. I think this wood work out great and fix all my problems.

How long did this take? Im guessing around 3-6 hours.

If u decide to do the doors please post sum pix of the install. I wood love to see them.

Thanks Stylist
