BSH has been around for longer, so it has quite a few more users than ours and most are quite happy. That having been said, ours has taken longer to come to market, but has performed flawlessly in the year or more it has been in test on my personal car and a few others.

I am very happy with my BSH can (my second one, upgraded to a larger one). Forge make quality products as well. I think you can't go wrong with either just choose the one you like the look of or price of.

They are both great reputable companies! like JamDawg said VTA is the most efficient way of removing vapors completely!

both do the same thing and both are good quality..i bought bsh because i got a cheaper deal on it...need to get around to installing it though

There are a few things on Forge's tank that I like a bit better even though it's nearly $100 more expensive.

(1) The fittings are part of the plate and not extra pieces that need to be screwed in. This allows the holes to line up precisely with the valve cover.

(2) The meter on the side of forge's can is better than BSH's dipstick that's hard to read.

(3) Forge intake cap has a feed for a boost gauge so it doesn't need yet another fitting in-order to tap the intake.

All that said... I have a BSH comp can on my car.

I guess for me vapors aren't the biggest problem, it's the pressure in the crank case. I remember an article in SCC where they had a VTA can vs Recirc on a dyno with some Integra and the recirc can actually increased HP by about 2. They explained that this is possible because the recirculating cans actually suck on the crankcase and the ideal operating environment for a crank case is total vacuum. They also talked about how some cars use vacuum pumps on the crank case to create more of a vacuum. I'm not going to go that far, but the crankcase pressure is a constant concern. Right now I have no catch can (BSH on the way) and I get so much pressure that it's pushing out the oil filler cap and the valve cover gaskets. After a hard run there is fresh oil leaking and after putting on the downpipe it's so bad that there is actually smoke coming from the back of the head near the turbo. My Subaru actually caught fire because of that once but the issue was compounded by leaking piston rings. The oil pushed out of the valve covers right onto the exhaust manifold and caught fire.

Have you considered the 42DD solutions? I'd consider their products before pulling the trigger. I'm extremely happy with mine.

I have the Forge catch tank set up.
I love it because the can is huge, PCV plate is in one-piece and the meter on the side of the tank shows how much I have it filled up.

I bet you have a valve that's stuck shut and isn't allowing the pressure to vent. I bet the PCV revamp that's part of the BSH kit fixes your problem.

Has anyone had a Forge for longer than a year?
Just wondering if the level window turns brown/creamy after a while and the window gets obstructed.

I ask because my plastic measuring cup I use to drain the CC is caked with gunk and it's not coming off.
