NSW GTG Cruise - Sunday in April/May

Update 24 March 2010

Okay so with the 18th fast approaching I've put together a small pdf of the route, I will have a few copies available on the day but it can be found here for those wishing to download and bring their own. I've updated the document to add an additional stop after a suggestion from Capercat prior to entering the Gorge. I've also added some more info about where we will park in Richmond.

It is a very simple document with some directions and details of the proposed GTG route.

So if you're free and keen for a day drive and meet and greet with the wider VW community, or just wanting to catch up with like minded people then get to the GTG, great fun and you won't regret it.

To keep this running and not open ended, I'll run the poll until mid Feb to give eveyone a chance, then if there's enough interest I'll set the date based on most votes.

I haven't driven up that way before (Blue Mountains) so it would be a good trip. I can't confirm availability at the moment. Got a mates wedding in S.A at start of April. But I would like to come.

No probs Cam, plenty of time to organise it thats why its late april early may indicative dates, hopefully we get some good interest and get a big group together

I'm fine with any sunday, looks like a good run.

Well i should be in a golf by march so i'll make the trip up to sydney for it.

Yeah looks like an interesting drive, kinda over driving down south.

yeah I thought it about time so hopefully we get the interest and it's a good day.

Ill be in for half a day on a sunday... date not really fussed as long as its not double demerits...

Didn't think about DD so that makes the 25th out as its a long weekend.

Whilst the success (in heavy rain) of the GTG yesterday organised by Cam and Rob I thought I might do a quick Bump for this thread to see if people are keen for it to go ahead.

So what do people think, good, bad indifferent?

As for the days I would recommend that the Sunday of Anzac day is out, as its a long weekend and people may want to go away, but also as it will no doubt be DD all weekend.

Yeah still keen for the cruise, well even more so since I missed yesterdays one.
