Paint code

Where do I find the paint code for my car... is it ion the vin or some other place on the car? I bought the car used and yes I what color it is just looking for 2007 paint codes?

Do you have any pics of that plate?

There are three such plates on my US 2006 driver's door jamb -
tire pressure, conformance / weight / build date and a warning about air bags,
none of them show paint codes on mine :iono:

Data sometimes can be found on a sticker added to the Owner's manual maintenance book too.

However, beware, dealers have been know to mix up the owners manuals,
the sticker I got in the owners manual is not for my car :eyebulge:
VIN in incorrect, paint color is not correct -
LC9Z is Black Magic (which is correct for my car), LB9A is Candy White!

I stand corrected. I'll have to go double check my door now. I could have sworn the paint code was there. :thumbsup:

If you just go to www.paintscratch.com and put in your model/year/color it will give you the paint code as well. Just for reference.
