How many do you have? I'll take them all. Just PM me your bank account number, date of birth, and home address.

Or, post a price per forum rules.

What do you mean? I have to post the price on here? Sorry, if I did not since I really do not know how much should I ask for or how much would you guys think it worth.

Why would anyone want or need that? :iono:
Wouldn't connecting two antennas in parallel like that
induce multi-path distortion?

Both antennas are not used together by the stock head unit,
it continuously switches between the two based on signal quality,
aka FM Diversity system.

Shouldn't this be posted in Classifieds?

But why?
Possibly on other makes you are combining AM and FM, but not on a MK V.

On Mk Vs with twin analog antennas,
one antenna lead is an AM/FM feed.
The other is FM only and is specifically filtered of AM signal.
Both are already amplified at the antenna in the rear hatch.
Amplifying at the other end of the cable ampifies the line noise too and negates the advantage.
Connecting them together should make FM reception worse,
as that will create FM multipath distortion, as
that is not how they are intended to be used.

On radios that do not offer FM diversity,
simply ignore the FM only feed and you will get a better result.

No real answer. What you say makes sense.
It seems MkVs use more than one sort of twin antenna feed around the world.
There are notes on it in this thread http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74855 .
I am using one to join the 2 signals into one for the WD6050 (Oz version R32).
Wouldnt work properly without. Tried a few combinations.
So there you go.
Chaps in that thread often asking where to purchase this type of adaptor.
They normally get from UK or Germany. Seems to do the trick for them.
This may be a cheaper alternative.

Do you know which is which? i.e. which color is FM only and which is AM/FM?

did not see that detail in the factory diagram ...

Hi all, I am wondering how to hook up the dual fakra antenna, the antenna leads seem simple enough, but how does the blue wire connect? does it hook up to the P ant lead from the units wiring harness?
