Ebay CAI vs. Brand Name CAI

So I have a general question about the cold air intakes.. Other than say a high quality filter, what is the real difference between say a Neuspeed P-flo vs a Ebay CAI? I mean for $60 vs $225... If I was to buy a k&N filter, what would the advantages of a Name brand one really be?? are they all not just metal mandrel bent tubes really?? I have been comparing them visually, and really cant tell the difference??
Any suggestions.

I was also wondering about this. I currently have the neuspeed pflo but want to switch to a 3 inch with my new turbo setup. I found an ATP knockoff on ebay and it looks pretty legit. Would you guys recommend me getting rid of my Pflo for the ebay? Here's the link to said intake:

A legit knockoff? Har. Don't do it, spend the money and get a decent kit. Or buy a used one in the classifieds.

I'm with Phil on this one. The difference is everything really. I can look at a $35 Wal Mart Tire and a $300 Michelin and they are both black, round, hold air and let your car steer and go but when you look closely the difference is everywhere and as with most things in life, you get what you pay for.

Here in cali. It doesn't matter for each one. Cause it has to be carb legal. So just spend you money making one then buying one that isn't carb legal.
