I actually just finished purchasing all of these pieces and let me tell you...it's not as cheap as you would think.

First off, here are the correct part numbers...

Connection Housing to DV: 1J0 973 722 A
Connection Housing to Harness: 1J0 973 822 A
000 979 133 A: Wire (x2)
000 979 134 A: Wire (x2)

With my discount at my local dealer...all of the pieces cost me just over $40 (I believe you can get them for roughly $32 + shipping from 1stvwparts.com, but shipping may cancel out any savings).

Note: I initially purchased those same parts numbers you listed above (probably from the same thread you got the information), but they were not correct and did not attach to the DV housing plug. From there, I used ETKA (thanks to Duke) to find the correct pieces...which are listed above.

Note (2): I might have mine for sale here within a week or so...might not end up taking the planned path of relocating the OEM DV and just stick with the Forge SS Valve. If you're interested, LMK and I can keep you up to date on my decision.

From the part number's you have listed it looks like i have the right components now i just need to put them together any ideas ?

000 979 134 A x2 Wire
000 979 133 A x2 Wire
1j0 973 722 x1 Housing
8d0 973 822 x1 Housing

^^^ Just make sure that these aren't the part numbers you have...b/c these two housings are incorrect. Even in ETKA they look to be interchangeable, but alas they are not. The OEM DV "socket" has a little guide rail down one side...thus the part number you listed above will NOT fit onto the OEM DV. Thus, the corresponding part number to connect to the housing will be incorrect as well. Use my above parts numbers to the exact degree.

As far as putting them together...piece of cake. Each housing has a 1/2 numbering printed onto the plastic. Each housing will accept one set of the wires listed above (pay attention to this statement). Meaning that both 133 A wires connect into the same housing and vice versa. From there, I soldered the two sets of wires together (at their connection) and heat shrinked over the connection. Make sure that the wires correspond to the 1/2 numbers on the housings. Once I give it a test run, I will finish it up with some electrical tape and a wire loom.

I can get you some pics this evening if needed.

Sorry for the delay man...

Picture of the whole harness (total 4' long)...

Picture of the soldered connections...

Picture of the housings (bottom left = OEM DV; top = extension harness connection to DV; bottom right = extension harness connection to OEM harness)...note the guide rail found along the bottom corner of all the housings...

Picture of the harness housings interconnecting...note the 1/2 imprints on both pieces...make sure your wiring corresponds to each respectively...

Picture of the little purple/pinkish piece that will need to be removed from this housing connection...w/o removing this piece, the two housings will not fully secure into one another...
