Agreed, US will not win the World Cup. Not that anyone in this country would care if they did. We should advance to the second round.
Germany's captain is out of the WC. Your chances got a little smaller.

He was on the wrong side of a nasty tackle over the weekend in the FA Cup final. He has ligament damage.

Here is the tackle that might have done Germany in:

Interesting, no red card. Also to fuel conspiracy: Boatang plays for Ghana. And Germany & Ghana are in the same group. Hmmmm.

Going to be tough for them to get out of the group. Love how Park Ji-Sung plays though, even if he plays his club ball for the enemy.

I'd be very surprised if Germany makes it to the final rounds, as hard as it is for me to say that it's true.

My only hope is Italy doesn't win. We don't need it empowering guidos worldwide.

I work with an Australian guy, I'm predicting England come top of their group, and Australia come 2nd in theirs. That way they we can knock them out in the last 16 Then i can gloat all day at work, lol

Been an England supporter since I started following football. The US match will be tough tho because I would really like to see them do well. America loves a winner, and the attitude towards soccer in the US always gets a little better with every World Cup. I do think this is the 3 Lions' year! Just no pk's against Portugal please....

Had me confused for a second. From your location thought you were cheering on the yanks. But your avatar tells me your cheering for the three lions. England will probably finish tops & USA second, but that will be hard after USA beats England in their first match. Not sure I see Australia getting into second round.
