USA FAILS.

wish they had a team worth the watch.

but then again my home country failed as well, and they used to be top class.

I love the beautiful game.
Glad someone started this thread. I was about to.
Poor Irish, what a way to go out. It is heartbreaking.
I'm planning to go, anyone else?

I know, we were ROBBED! Altho we should have had the game wrapped up
with all the chances we had. People are looking for a re-match, even the gouvernment have stepped in to try convince FIFA.

Theres also talk of of a protest outside the french embassey, lol.
Thierry Henry is a F***ing cheat!!

Classic!

Love this picture.

Didn't watch the game, but I heard Ireland (player, not country) missed two great chances.
Unfortunately they will not replay the game. Hard luck.
Can't blame Henry too much. It's part of the game. I would be more upset at the refs.

Ireland (the player ) didnt play, he refuses to play for his country, MoFo.
But yeah, we had 4 clear cut chances that should have paid off, but thats football.
Henry just released a statement saying "its not my fault, you should have beat us while you had the chance". (but in a french accent)
Too true.
Looking forward to a good world cup tho, another excuse to go the pub

Too true. That's why I love it. Can get one chance and score, or a hundred and net nothing. Thats football.
Do you have a favorite team now, a team to cheer for, or against?

Oddly enough, no Turkey. They did so well at Euro 2008 that I thought we'd see them.

Go Spain.

Id like to see England do well. But il be suporting Spain, love the way they play. Il prob be shouting for an underdog too. You'l always get 1 underdog
that surprises everyone.

Until then im just hoping Liverpool get the finger out and seriously up
their game, its heartbreaking being a Liverpool fan at the moment

Tell me about it. Highlight of the year so far was beating united. Better have the same result vs city. We miss Alonso, but when Aquilani gets fit, he should be a great fit.

I'll cheer for England, too. But my teams are USA (playing poor of late, especially with all the missing first team players), Brazil (nuff said), & Cameroon.

I hope a lot of the non-power house countries do well. Makes for a good World Cup when the under dogs to well.

Really? Don't remember hearing that. Ghana, Italy, Czech Republic...that's some good competition. I do hope England does well.
