Put 87 octane into my Stage2 GTI

Well.. yesterday it returned.
I was hammering on the throttle out of a turn and i had a hard fuel cut, the car lurched and the power cut.... i put it into neutral and it still idled.... I put it back into gear, let the clutch out, and as soon as i touched the throttle it died on me and shut off.

Started it back up with no issues.
I seen http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168256 and he is having nearly the same symptoms as me...I'm going to order that fuel rail sensor and change it just so i can cross another thing off my list.

Your hpfp upgrade is by what outfit? These guys? http://hpfpupgrade.com/BrowseProducts/Show/Volkswagen/2.0T+FSI

If not permanently fixed by the hpfp swap, have you pulled and checked the lpfp and its screen/filter?

Still should consider Vag-Com cable and VCDS software.

Yes it is from that website. I looked at the LPFP and it wasn't overly hot or anything... I previously ordered an LPFP to replace, but returned it as I thought it was fixed.
