So I just got my hands on my first MKV with DSG (after driving stick for like 14 years; Driven mostly 6MT MKIV most of my life)
It appears the car has a bit of metal rattling but it's not constant while on idle/park. DSG gearbox shifts fine with no faults so far but it is due for the next DSG fluid flush.
As a precaution, I want to replace the DMF but money is a bit tight to caught up 450-500+ smackaroonies. I came across a slightly used DSG flywheel on ebay with matching P/N.
Should I give a shot or just get a new one? Part comes with 30-day warranty and I can extend it up to a year. Also I'm not concerned about the labor part for install.
