VW warranty

Here in the U.K every new VW and most cars come with 3 years or 36000 miles warranty.How do other countries differ?

I think mine came with the same but I paid to make it 6 yrs 75k for like $1500 more.

US is: 4 years/50,000 miles bumper to bumper and roadside assistance, 5 years/60,000 miles drivetrain. And 12 years on corrosion perforation

You can also buy "extended warranties" that prolong these periods.

I've seen 5yr/100,000 mile extended for about $1350. It all depends on how you negotiate with your dealer. This isn't something thats set in stone in price. Good luck!

For Canada, Basic warranty is 4 year/80,000 km or powertrain: 5 year/100,000 km

2 year warranty, can be extended for 265€ up to 4 years

In Belgium it is also standard 2 years with unlimited mileage.

My 1997 Jetta GLX came with a 10yr/100k mile warranty on the drivetrain...guess VW isn't as confident as they used to be.
