Congrats on a nice car man.. i too wen n bought a 1.6 fsi last year and have very little trouble with it.. i would have gone for tdis but the condition n spec of the car was brilliant.. i had no major plans to modify it as i too wish to save for an R32 some day, however i just recently purchased 18's R32 phase 3 alloys jus to fill the arches and lowered it 30 mm all round with PI springs.. there is already as standard a sports suspension on most fsi's so springs were enough.. il post some pics asap once i get a chance n show you before n after shots jus to give you idea of how its sits.. b gud man

Those phase 3 R32 reps make such a difference - I still cringe at my stock alloys and they are also starting to get white worm :yikes:
I got quoted £450 for a set - counting down the days now :biggrin:

i think u shouldnt bother modding FSI golf. keep your money and buy a TSI as soon as possible
