For those of you that sanded, primed, and painted your own lower skirts/bumper, I was wondering what the total cost of the materials was. I want to do this when my "stimulus check" from good ol' DUBYA gets to me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Don't try sanding the textures smooth. You'll end up wanting to shoot yourself for starting the project. Instead use primer filler to fill the holes.

Thanks for all the replies. I plan on purchasing a sander. I read the thread how to paint them. But I'm tryin to get a ball park on the cost of the whole project.
