Golfah you payed $33,667 for your GTI with $3,000 down which brings it to 30,667 financed at 8%?! With everything else added you actually payed $36120 for a freakin PKG 1 GTI. Didn't you do research? To perspectify (new word) I'm paying 718/month for 3 years = $25848 for a PKG1. Some guys here payed $25500 OTD for there PKG 2 and got 3.9% financing. That is freakin insane dude.

BTW refinancing or paying more than the minimum monthly payment for you car doesn't make any sense especially if you have credit card debt that you should pay off first. Interest is already added to the total cost of your car and therefore to your monthly payments. By refinancing you are adding even more interest to how much you already owe. In Golfah's case, say he refinanced in a year. Paying $460 a month for 1 year brings his amount owed to $27,600. If he refinanced that for 3.9% for another 6 years, his amount owed would now then be $28676. But wait, he now only has to pay $398/month instead of $460. Hurray right? Nope.. another $1,076 just got tacked on to his GTI. Which brings it to a grand total of $37,196 for a PKG 1 freakin GTI.

My math could be wrong though. If it is then I apologize.

$36k is insane for a GTI PKG1. How in the world did you pull that off?

$496/mo for 4 years here on a 07 GTI PKG1.

07 GTI, Pkg. 2, DSG, Nav, Lowering kit 17". 400 over invoice $28410 .

I believe it would come up to $30654 out the door. they offered me 550/month for 60 months with $2000 down payment.

Sorry for wrong calculation. it is 540$/per month for 60 months with %4.99 interest and 2000$ down payment. it will add up to $34400.

well price of GTI is about $30500 otd. not $34400. Almost 4000 $ will be the result of %4.99 interest rate .:iono:

This what i will get:

07 GTI 2D with DSG 21,414.00
Package #2 2,887.00
Ground Effects (PIO) 1,390.00
Navigation System, DVD-Based 1,589.00
Destination 630.00
Total 27,910.00
400 over invoice
28,310.00

sale tax and otter fees should bring it up to $30600:wink:
