I want to see MY car at THAT factory...for the first time!

I want to pick up my GTI at the factory and I want to do it for free.

I would love to have a European delivery option much like BMW's (minus the 3 month manufacture period), where so long as you're not traveling for an excessive amount of time, the cost difference basically pays for you to be there or, at the least pays for you and a companion to get there. Nothing would be better than a few days on the autobahn in MY brand new GTI...

... so just returned from the "Autostadt" and took lots of pictures !

This is the "GTI Gumball 2005" wich raced the Gumball last year. It´s the European Cannonball.

Maybe I'm blind (entirely possible) but I don't see anything on that site that discusses picking up US spec cars/transportation back to the States etc. What's so neat about the BMW program is not only do you get to drive your US spec car, but it not only doesn't cost you to ship it back home, but they basically pay you to do it by offering a substantial discount.

Again, am I missing something on that site?
