Anyone know a trustworthy shop or person that can do a timing belt/water pump/drive belt change for under $1,000?

Thanks!

I don't know if you already have the parts, but if you need them I just had a kit from Blauparts put on my car and it literally came with every part you'll need and is all OEM sourced.

I went with the enhanced+ kit and couldn't be happier.

I bought the kit for $320 and had a shop do it for me for $350. I'm not in WA though. Try these guys, they seem to have good review, call em up and ask for a quote: http://www.yelp.com/biz/volkswagen-specialist-buttera-motors-kirkland-2

Thanks merkeyterkey! I was planning on buying the kit from ECS but that kit looks great and is less for the enhanced plus! I have heard of the shop before and sent them an email but they never responded but I will call. Every other shop has been around $700-$1000 with just labor, I understand theres a lot of work but seems like it's a lot especially since you got yours done for $350.

Check out Achtuning in Redmond. They're one of my most trusted shops and they specialize in European performance vehicles. Worth a shot asking them for a quote.

I'm in the market for a timing belt service as well. Will check out Achtuning.

Anyone ever heard of Mousemeat in Tacoma? I've heard good things about them too but wouldn't mind more customer experiences if any of you have been there before.

In my younger days I wouldn't hesitate to do the service myself. Guess I feel differently now that I'm older [emoji3].
