Reupholster tutorial?

Hey all,

I really want leather/pleather seats for my GTI. Seat covers are tacky and I don't feel like dishing out serious $ for new seats. Has anyone reupholstered their GTI seats? If not, has anyone come across a good tutorial?

Great! I got a quote from an aftermarket place today and they quoted me 1k. Luckily, I have a family full of skilled couturier I've just removed all of the cloth interior from my rear seat and we are going to draw up some plans. Anyone else done this??

If they quoted 1k and that includes all the labor and its quality leather, that's damn good.
