I can understand. Not quite able to empathize, but I'm an information systems major. It's not exactly a field where many people gain notoriety or opportunity for philanthropy.

But I have to think that in some way, as long as we put in the effort, our work will matter.

I know it sounds cheesy and cliché, but after a lot of thought, I consider it to be true. Whether anyone notices or not is a different story.

Sorry you've hit this rough patch man. Hope things get better.
