Upgrading to MK6 headunit? What's Involved

Just wondering if anybody has swapped their head unit to one out of a MK6? (RNS-510 I believe) I might be able to get one out of a wrecked MK6 and would like to swap it into my MK5

Main thing I want to use the unit for is Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth calling. I want to keep the OEM look, but is it worth it? From what I have gathered so far, you will need to get a new Bluetooth module and possibly do some coding throught VAGCOM?

Let me know what you think, Open to other options if you think it's too hard!!

Thanks.

You need the radio, sirius antenna or extension cable, antenna adapter, bluetooth module, and bluetooth harness. The adapter and antenna are cheap, the bluetooth harness is $45 shipped on eBay, the bluetooth module is around $200, and the radio all depends on what you purchase.

Why go through the hassle of re-coding and buying all kinds of different components when you can buy a quality touchscreen aftermarket headunit and all the parts to install it for less than $400?
