Car just stopped (after intake manifold repair)

I just picked up my GTI from the dealer yesterday after they replaced the intake manifold. Approximately 24 hours lately and is just died after I tried to shift gears. The clutch pedal stayed pushed to the floor. I can turn the engine on for a couple of seconds and then it dies again. I never had this happen before and the dealer coincidentally is busy with other calls at the moment. Anyone have any idea what this is?

any luck with this? what was the root cause? sounds like they messed something up.

This was the clutch going out.
