Are these any different than the Golf R / R32 brakes? Do we know if they bolt straight up like previous R brakes?

They should. The mkvii gti have the same brakes as mkv and mkvi so I doubt they changed it for mkvii

I don't know that it is 100% fact that it is direct bolt up but the kits are all the same for the mk5/6/7

I think these are the same as the MK6 Golf r if anything they are bigger they for sure feel better then my MK6 R brakes felt but that could be weight and other things making it feel that way
