bent suspension?

I was backing out of a parking space today, and my left rear wheel bumped into a curb I didn't see. The tread part of the tire touched the curb, and now I'm worried of bent suspension parts. I actually went and measured the wheelbase and notice the left side is shorter by 0.5 - 1 cm. :frown:

lol, you're fine.

I was running over 1cm curbs at the track going 85+ MPH.

Don't worry you're fine. The shock or spring didn't take any stress, only the rear control arm took the hit, and it's strong as hell.

Of course they designed the suspension to take this kind of stress, your little incident happens rather frequently, so they would have been fools not to. Germans aren't fools.

i once backed into a curb and rolled pretty far onto it. went forward and ripped off some my drivers side rear bumper. other than the bumper, the was no other damage. so you shouldnt be worried
