Reading some of the pages...seems to be a mod that works without going crazy trying to add preload. Most times, attempting to add preload only goes so far before the WG gets blown open regardless the amount you add. This mod, or add a blue Forge spring, right?
I only get brief surge flutter in low rpm's when initially beginning a pull for gathering data...kick-down pulls never surge...and I can boost up to and above 25psi with just 1.5mm of preload on my Forge with the yellow spring. Seems like some of those guys on that thread were turning the preload way too far up in their attempt to get Mo'Boost that isn't there with the stock actuators of their K03's and K04's and oem boost controller/N75.
I've thought of adding the blue spring with nearly zero preload next time I have access to the actuator...perhaps when a new turbo goes in. :thumbsup:
