Tranny Question

Hey,
Is it true that the auto with DSG and LC is quicker to 60 than the manual?

It's kind of hard to believe...

Also, I'm thinking of getting a GTI for this summer and was wondering what the necessary factory options are...

Also, when is the R32 coming out? How much more will it be? Should I wait for that or is the MK5 easier to mod?

It's hard to believe until you drive the DSG and discover how quickly it upshifts. It really is a transformative experience.

See for yourself... certainly looks like the DSG shifts faster than the average mortal human being -

Word is R32 is not coming to US, but R36 may be brought here. Dollar for dollar the GTI should be easier to mod (since it's a turbo)... ever try squeezing power out of a naturally aspirated engine :bonk:
