hey all! ive been curious about this, and have been having a hard time finding any real information about it. for pratical application, some road course racing and daily grind driving. what would a good size wheel be? 17 or 18inch, and would you want wider or thiner? i.e. 17x7.5 or 17x8-9? ive been trying to logic it out with my friend here, but i would really appriciate ya'lls input on the subject. so please feel free to discuss! thank ye ;)

Can't go wrong with 17's as track wheels.

Generally you go with wider wheels so you can fit wider tires on them. Wider wheels weigh more than narrower wheels, so going super wide without the tire/performence to need it is a waste. An 8" wide wheel can fit up to 265 tires IIRC.
