RCD-510 with 9w2 bluetooth question/help!

2009 GTI MKV:
I have a RCD-510 (part# 1K0035180AC) installed and would like to add bluetooth audio streaming. Would a 9w2 bluetooth module (part# 1k8035730C) be able to do this?

Yes you'll be able to stream music in stereo. But the radio will not show song info and you'll have to use your phone to change tracks. I suggest buying the "direct plug" Bluetooth harness on eBay. No wire splicing and you can go back to stock immediately when you want to. The same harness can be used if you ever wanted to upgrade to 9w7.

Thanks Zach, ordered it yesterday. It comes from China so I gotta wait a couple weeks but its worth not splicing into my original wires.
