Better A3?

that is the same engine as the gti, yet the next gen a3 is claiming that kinda hp!!! do you guys think this engine will transfer to the gti??

if so i dont think im going to order mine yet!

It is the same engine but as far as I know that cams and electronics will be a lot diffrent. They also opened up the exhaust (the GTi's downpipe is very small).

yea id bet its probably very similar to us doing a chip and turbo back...

From the numbers I have seen with a chip + tback we would do even better. Not to mention having a spend ALOT less money than buying the Audi.

Yeah it all comes down to cost. the GTI and its aftermarketparts are going to be cheaper than it will be for the "luxury car" version.

Really, do we all plan on keeping the GTI motor stock? ...psssh:laughabove:
