that's propably because most of the pics in here are from european GTI's and the european GTI doesn't have those orange side blinkers

I'm pretty sure on the car above, they are Axis wheels. If I'm not mistaken, Gunther VW (who's car I believe that was), puts Axis wheels on a lot of their cars.
