DIY Stock Rabbit and GTI Rabbit

Hey All,

I just got a GTI Rabbit valence, I know it will fit but there is a part underneath that has two places for screws. The stock Rabbit valence doesn't have any places to screw in at the bottom. I have taken a picture of a GTI Valence (the part that I am referring to)

I am not sure what to do. Do I trim it off? Do I let it be? I am wondering if anyone has any tips/videos on this.

My GTI does not use those holes for mounting, rabbit should have the same holes.
