Radio code SOS

All right so I have tried three different dealerships, none of them seem to be able to tell me where to look to find said radio code.

I tried googling it without any success, the radio I put in my car was out of an 06 Jetta from a junkyard
I have a photo of the serial number off of the radio.

I put multiple calls into these dealerships and spoke with different people, the best answer I could get was that I needed to come in and have a tech get the info...

They basically want to charge me to retrieve this radio code, all I really need to know is where the F too look.
I know the salvage yard will be more than happy to go check for me.... but no one seems to know where the code is listed.

I was think about the trouble you go through to get VW radio codes.

I picked up a replacement radio for my wife's Honda CRV. Didn't come with a radio code. All I had to do was go to a site, put in her VIN#, our State location and the serial# of the radio. Voila radio code...
