It's the same demographic that buys these or the BMW 328: $30,000 Millionaires who want to impress their friends with a premium brand name but can't afford actual performance. Douchebag posers, basically.

On a side note, I have to pass dbag Budget Ballers that refuse to move over for "lesser" cars on a daily basis, on the right. I fucking hate entry-level Lexus and BMW drivers. They tend to be some of the biggest tools on the road. My favorite part is when they speed up to try to stop the pass and they can't, especially when im beating them in my grampapa DeVille. They get so mad! I always make sure to cut em off real good, just for good measure.

It may be comparable to the 328i but the 2008 328i is far better performance wise. Its 0-60 is 6 seconds. The new 2012 328i sedan is 5.5 seconds.

But yea, I agree the IS250 is for guys that want to look rich and want to have a fast looking car.

I mean, with the F-Sport body kit it does look really nice. To any non suspecting person, they would look at an IS250 and think its fast.

My friend who knows nothing of cars was with me last night and there were two lowered IS's in the parking lot we pulled into. He goes, you shoulda gotten that, and I responded, but my car is faster. He didnt believe me till I googled specs for the IS and showed him.

i suppose, theyre slow as shit. i cant count how many of those and the 350 ive destroyed here in san diego, ca. the owners of those cars are on par with doucheness of bmw owners.

The 350's are a little better, but heavier still and only come in autotragics.

IMO the new IS's are poser cars as opposed to the original IS300 with the supra motor.

The sad thing is that the F-Sport IS, the one step below the IS-F, is just a 350 with a nice body kit, rims, and some interior stuff. Its only offered in automatic.
