GTI Grill Badge

Already tried searching, couldn't find anything on how to remove this. Has anyone done a write up for this? does it easily clip on/off? would just rather know before i try it myself and break something....

Push in and rotate about 45deg to the left, the pegs behind it should line up with some slots and you can jimmy it out.

or just take the front grille off. two 30t screws on top, two under where the licenseplate is, then you can pop the badge off from the back easily.
