theres a shit load of construction going on in my area too. and roads are geting pretty bad. i dont see how someone can fix/pave a bump on the road and have it come out worse than it actually was to begin with. i see this everywhere.

are these people hungover like "that shit'll do" or what?

I have 5k on mine and the only thing that bugs me is the creeping I get from my front passenger side during real slow right turns, I know there's a fix but I'm just to lazy to pull it off and do it.

Got the fronts almost done, quick question though.

When inputting the axle splines into the hub, should it slide in like butter? I pulled off the passanger side and it was still had some grease, but I added some more and when inserting on reinstallation it was perfect. The driver's side came out bone dry, I added grease but it is not budging, and I am hesitant to use a dead blow.

Also, are the axle bolts torque to yield because I always see people say to get new ones...I have the 24mm 12pt for reference. Thanks, and so far I am impressed with the quality of these pieces.

Electricalbox - Yes, the axle bolts are stretch bolts, you will need to replace them. Try ECS.

Finished late last night but I like the stance, the rear end drop doesn't look to be enough, but the front is decently low for daily driving, and I still have about 6 more threads to drop.

I got a whirling noise this morning while doing 50-70mph, sounds like wheel bearing, but there is no clanking or anything. I am thinking it may be the brake dust shield is slightly touching the rotor or something is not aligned properly. Anyone else have this issue? I did put new axle bolts as well...

Pictures hopefully tonight, and for anyone hoping to do this install it is not that bad. Just be sure to get the spreader so the shock body can come out so much easier.

Nope I am running 225/45/17 on a 17x7.5 +45 wheel, butt I am thinking it is the type of tire I am running. I have Falken Fk452s, and I think it may be tread noise & I just never noticed it. :( Hopefully pictures today :)

you could be rubbing fronts on the screw if you haven't removed it or you could just be cupping the tread from the fuxored alignment, you adjust it since lowering?

For what I have read in this thread, they will go lower once the springs settle

and also you can allways remove the rear perches if it's still not enough

Car has not yet been aligned, all seems well, but I will definitely be taking it. Which screw specifically are you referring too...thanks for your help :)

Yep, they started to get a little bit lower, I rub on bad intersections when I have to turn. :( Fender rolling time and slam it more I guess :).

Read the thread :)

There's a screw in the fender lip that attaches the liner, it protrudes a bit.

They remind me of the Vmaxx coils I had for my NB miata, I was about 2/3rd of the way down and it became unsafe LOL. Easily can put it on the floor, the ones on the Mkv application go low, but no where near it.

These are the same as the one stratmosphere produces right? They seem very similar...

Some quick point and shoot pictures... maxed out with perches in the rear, fronts have 6-7 more threads...
