EG is not rare to see run a 13.8 or 13.9 @ 99-100-101mph.

EK is more of a 14 flat, lower 14's.

I've seen it 100 times.

My buddy has one with a Discount auto parts intake, running through the stock header, and has run 13.9 probably 20 times. And this is with wheel spin. His is an American spec GSR motor. The Jap spec is a bit quicker.

Here's him playing around a little..

And there's a few more just in the beginning of this compilation..

I say a stock JDM GSR (not even an intake, no slicks) in a EG doesn't hit 14 flat because my boyfriend has one and I've seen it run. This is with wheel spin and a Type R tranny (LSD).

Too many things play a factor in these times... but I'm just saying I have not yet seen a bone stock EG GSR run under 14s.

Originally in Integra DC2s....

USDM is about 170~180 I believe?
JDM-spec is a bit more.. 10hp more or so

If swapped into an EG, it makes them fast because the car weighs next to nothing. lol Power-to-weight ratio

The thing about these swapped civics are you have to do it right. There's a bunch of kids out there that just ghetto rig the motor in there. Maybe he is one of them, but good kill though.

Very true. Not everyone will.

You have to understand though. There's Honda driver's, and then there's Honda drivers. If you feel me. Nothing against your boyfriend, love. I've just seen it too many times to agree to disagree with you. And not one kid in one car doing it over and over again. I'm talking 8-10 different swapped buddies cars we've swapped, and I've personally seen running at the track. I use to work at a shop that specialized in Honda's (JDMSpeedJunkies). We would probably swap out two EG's a week back when the B-series motors were the thing to do, and running shit. It's not hard to find.

But you know what? I've also seen K20 hatch's run 14 flat too. So does that mean a K20 swapped hatch is a low 14 second car also? You feel me.
