Q: Are they bringing regular non-GTI Golfs to N. America? How about 5 door version?

Like the title says, are they bringing the regular Golfs to US/Canada and are they bringing a 5 door version here?

I'd be surprised if they didn't bring a non-GTI version. I would think they will lose out on a lot of sales that way? The GTI isn't so expensive a car but they'd also sell alot of Golfs in the $15-$20k range I think.

I don't know about the non-GTI version but I think I read that the 5 door version will be here sometime mid-year.. June/July I think. Maybe someone else can answer the non-GTi version question.

The regular Golf should be coming to the US this summer (2006).
