I've got 2 CEL's in the past week, they both went away on their own. Below is my VAG-COM fault readout. If I've read this thread correctly, my software being 0030 means I have all software updates to the point of these Q3 release. Any way to determine if my flap motor has been replaced at all?

The TSB says to "perform basic settings for Intake Flap Motor -V157-" and if they cannot be completed successfully, to replace the intake flap motor. Is this test something I can do with VAG-COM ?

Would the flap issues be causing the Cylinder Misfires?

So are they going to reflash my ecm back to stock or not. I have the apr program.
You have a customer number with APR, you can always go back in for a reflash if your ECU is ever wiped. People do this all the time. Its not uncommon, and it doesnt wipe clean from unplugging your battery, some others do, but not APR.

For those of us who have access to VW's technical information (elsa web, servicenet etc) we are perfectly capable of posting all the info anyone would ever want. However, the PDF files are STRICLY guarded including the one you see above. If the person gets caught, they WILL lose their job and there MIGHT be legal action taken.

So that is why I must be careful about what is said or posted. If others want to post copyright information, that's fine...it's not my ass ;)

I've got the intake flap recall service last week and they deleted my REVO stg1. I asked Pat (in the shop) to check the code and he said the code is updated to 0040, which means that REVO stg1 is not compatible with the code. He said that he will contact with REVO technik and actually he expected the new version will be available within two weeks.
I hope I can get reflashed much sooner, since I fell so big difference without REVO.

Part No SW: 1K0 907 115 S HW: 8P0 907 115 B
Component: 2.0l R4/4V TFSI 0010

Mine is only 2 months old? Looks like I need the update?

Not necessarily. I have a 2008 as well VAG-COM scan is exactly has yours above.

However, our SW Part No. is 1K0907115S. The VW TSB specifically calls out for SW Part No. 1K0907115B for the MkV Golf(GTI)/Jetta(GLI). Ours might be SW Ver 0020, but it's an entirely different SW Part No. than what's on the TSB.
