I just put in the VF mount 2 days ago, it feels good...It didn't help the 1st to 2nd gear transition as much as I thought it would but it did help kill my wheel hop.

It starts with 1 of 2 tranny side bolts backing out. It's the one more rearward on the tranny. There's also apparently a tsb about a helicoil type repair for chewed/sheared/broken threads in the tranny.

On a stock dogbone, this is a point of failure if there is not a properly torqued bolt holding the two surfaces together.

Here's what happens to the dogbone when it breaks.

That's not "broken".

Christ I thought people were snapping the actual arm!

The bolt backing out is a TSB...the resulting metal coming off is nothing...I pulled mine off to remove the rubber insert and replace with powerflex bushings.

I consider it all broken when it allows the engine to swing forward, which then allows components to crush into each other causing lots of damage.

If your drivetrain feels a bit sloppy, it might be worth a spot check on the lower bolts!

is this happening do to mods? Are people who have bone stock cars having problems as well?
